2. Sri Garuda Bhagwan appears with 8 serpents – Ashta Nagas – as His ornaments.  It is believed that worshipping Ashta Naga Garuda would relieve the devotee from all doshas caused by serpent planets.
3. Sri Anjaneya in the sanctum sanctorum is an idol of Panchaloka (an alloy of five metals) belonging to the Viajyanagara period.
4.Bhoothath Azhvaar though not did mangala sasanam, he did kainkaryam.
5.Yoga Narasimhar is above the entrance near Dwarapalakas.
6.Varadaraja Perumal in standing posture along with Sri and Bhoo Devi; Lord Lakshminarayanar in sitting posture with Goddess Lakshmi on his lap; and Ranganathar is in a Sayana Kolam facing the South, is a special.
7.Varadar is in a walking posture with his right leg slightly ahead reminding Gajendra Moksham.
8.Saint Bairagi did kainkaryam here, and Bairagi Madam is located neat Vittalapuram, 7 kms from here.
9.The temple is more than 2000 years old.
