MANGALAPUREESWARAR TEMPLE, TIRUCHOPURAM

Arulmigu Sathyayathakshi sametha Mangalapureswarar Temple (Tiruchobaranathasamy Temple)

The is a Paadal Petra Shiva Sthalam in Nadu Naadu. The temple is facing west surrounded by raised wall on all the sides with main entrance on the west. There is no Rajagopuram. The koil manyakarar's sister was very kind enough to help our darshan. She expressed willingness to help pilgrims at any time. 

Moolavar   : Mangalapureeswarar, Thiruchopuranathar.
Amman     : Thyagavalli , Velnedunganni, Sathyakshi.

How to reach:

On the Cuddalore-Chidambaram main road, Alapakkam is on the 18th km from cuddalore, take a left turn and the road goes to Alapakkam Railway station. Cross the railway line, Tiruchopuram is 2 kms from the main road. The nearby village is Thyagavalli. Nagarjuna Oil refinery is very close by.
